We are based in Durham and work closely with Durham County Council and other cultural organisations to make Durham a great place to live, work and go to school in. Brass music is an important part of the cultural heritage of County Durham and the International Festival of Brass is an important part of the year. We have delivered the education programme since 2012. We engage as many children and young people as possible with the diverse range of Brass Bands from all over the world that come during the Festival. Last year we sent bands to 69 schools to work with over 16,000 young people in County Durham in one week.
