Suitcase Of Survival

Suitcase of Survival is a creative learning programme that raises awareness of the Holocaust and promotes individual resilience. It has been developed in partnership with educationalists, theatre makers and with the invaluable support of holocaust survivor Zdenka Fantlová. It is a flexible approach that can work in schools and community settings and adapt to different age ranges.

We have delivered the programme in the UK and Internationally in a wide range of settings. In schools we develop bespoke programmes that start with a performance of The Tin Ring and then use a range of creative, physical and active exercises to look at what makes people resilient and how building personal resilience can help individual and group development. Using artistic and drama based approaches the students gets an opportunity to reflect on their own lives, explore their own decision making and value systems and develop themselves as active citizens.
